Privacy notice
Last updated: 1 August 2026
This notice explains which personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. It is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
01Who processes your data
The data controller is Innova Job S.p.A., Via Giovanni Papini 18, 40128 Bologna (BO), Italia, VAT 04384501203, an employment agency authorised under Italian Legislative Decree 276/2003.

- dpo@innovajob.it — to be confirmed
02What we collect
We only collect what you give us, plus the technical data needed to run the site.
- Identification and contact data: first and last name, email, phone, city, company name and role.
- Career data: experience, skills, sector of interest, preferred branch, the link to the CV or professional profile you choose to share, and whatever you write in the free-text field.
- Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited. Collected in aggregate form by our analytics tools, and only if you consent to non-essential cookies.
Please do not put special category data — health, trade union membership, religious or political beliefs, ethnic origin — in the free-text fields, unless it is relevant to the role (for example registration on the protected-employment lists under Italian Law 68/1999). If you do share it, we process it under Article 9(2)(b) GDPR, in the field of employment law.
03Why we process it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Assessing your application and presenting it to client companies for matching roles | Pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, for special categories, Art. 9(2)(b) | 24 months from submission or from the last meaningful contact |
| Answering a company’s staffing request and managing the commercial relationship | Pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) | For the duration of the relationship, then 10 years for accounting and tax obligations |
| Meeting the obligations that apply to employment agencies (mandatory reporting, anti-discrimination, traceability) | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) | The period set by the relevant law |
| Establishing or defending a legal claim | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) | Until the dispute and any appeal deadlines are over |
| Measuring how the site is used, so we can improve it | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time | See the Cookie Policy |
The fields marked as required are genuinely required: without them we cannot act on your request. Everything else is optional and only helps us understand your profile better.
04Who we share it with
- Client companies we put you forward to, limited to what is relevant to the role and only after assessing the match.
- Other companies in the group, when the search is run by a different office.
- Suppliers providing a technical service — hosting, email, applicant tracking, website analytics — appointed as processors under Article 28 GDPR.
- Labour consultants, auditors and public authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
05Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some technical suppliers are based, or run infrastructure, in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary measures where needed. Write to privacy@innovajob.it for a copy of the safeguards.
06How we protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to the application archive is restricted to authorised staff with personal credentials, and passwords are stored only in hashed form. We apply data minimisation: we collect and keep as little as possible, for the periods set out above.
07Automated decision-making
We do not decide on your application automatically: the assessment is always made by a person. Our software only helps us organise and search the archive.
08Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format (portability), and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it: withdrawal does not affect what was done beforehand.
To exercise these rights write to privacy@innovajob.it. We reply within one month. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of the country where you live.
09Changes to this notice
If we change the way we handle data we update this page and the date at the top. When the change is substantial we flag it on the site.
